Clubhouse Rules & Regulations

Alcohol
Club members and guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages onto the Club premises.

Athletic Facilities
The locker rooms must be used for changing golf shoes. Changing of clothes or golf shoes is not allowed in the exercise room or the parking lots.

Attire
a) Golf Clubhouse
Appropriate casual clothing is required in the Grille Room and Bar area. All males are requested to remove their hats in the dining facilities. Blue denim jeans, blue denim attire, T-shirts, swimsuits, beach clothing, sweat suits, or swimwear are not considered appropriate attire for the Clubhouse or the terrace of the Golf Clubhouse.

Special Club occasions may call for different dress requirements as specified.

b) Golf Course
Men: Shirts with collars and sleeves must be worn and tucked in at all times. Slacks or Bermuda length shorts must be worn. Hats are to be worn in the traditional manner. Shoes with hard spikes may not be worn; we are a “soft-spike only” environment. No tank tops, T-shirts, cut-offs, sweat pants, jeans, bathing suits, athletic shorts or tennis shorts are permitted.

Women: Longer length shorts (determined when your arms are hanging straight down against your body, the shorts are at or below your fingertips), skirts, slacks or dresses and appropriate golf tops are required. Sleeveless shirts must have a collar. No short shorts, halter-tops, T-shirts, jeans, cut-offs, sweat pants, athletic shorts or aerobic shirts are permitted. Golf shirts that are properly finished (designed to be left untucked) are permitted.

c) Pool and Tennis Clubhouse
Blue denim jeans, blue denim attire, beach clothing, or swim attire are not permitted in the Pool and Tennis Clubhouse. Appropriate cover-ups are required for bathers going to and from the pool. Swim attire, with appropriate cover up and footwear (no bare feet), are required outside the pool gates area and on the terrace.

Automobiles
Automobiles parked on the Club grounds must be parked within the areas designated for parking. All “No Parking” and handicap restrictions shall be observed. Vehicles may not be parked in the entrance way or in the circle by the front door of either Clubhouse. Repeated offensives of parking violations will result in the automobile being towed at the automobile owner’s expense.

Cell Phones
The use of cell phones is prohibited in all of the dining venues, golf course and all general club areas (pro-shops, foyer areas etc.). Cell phones may be used in the locker rooms, club parking lots and within the pool area.

Children
Although Cherry Valley is a family oriented club, it is important to remember that rules regarding children are needed to ensure the enjoyment of all members. Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children and their guests while they are on Club property. It is the financial responsibility of the member for any charges made or damages caused by the member’s child or the child’s guest.

Unless waived for special events, the following rules apply to the use of Club facilities by children:
